International Applicants: Applying to TMI

Take the first step and submit an online request for information to learn more about TMI. After providing your information, a member of the Office of Admissions will contact you to help you learn more about TMI and the application process.
Submit Online Parent Application
All students seeking admission to TMI must complete an online application for admission. International students may submit either the online TMI application or the SSAT Standard Application Online (SAO).

Submit Entrance Exam Scores
International students seeking admission to TMI can submit the Secondary School Admission Test (SSAT) or other standardized testing results for review. Non-native English-speakers may also submit either TOEFL or TOEFL Jr. scores.

TMI understands the challenges of providing recent standardized testing and will work with each family to ensure the Admissions Committee has a complete view of your student's academic strengths and abilities. We will rely more heavily on transcripts and teacher recommendations, along with student interviews, when making admissions decisions.
Request Recommendations
Recommendation forms are to be completed by current school officials and faculty. Parents may submit recommendation requests online via the Online Application Portal. Required recommendations: English, Math, and Principal/Counselor.
Submit Transcripts
Submit the School Records Release Authorization form to any school attended by the applicant during the past two years. Please have the school email transcripts directly to the Office of Admissions at admissions@tmi-sa.org.
Schedule an Interview
Zoom interviews are available for applicants outside of the San Antonio area. Applicants may reach out to admissions@tmi-sa.org to schedule their interview.
