    Job Summary
    The Associate Athletic Director (AAD) is a senior leader in the TMI Episcopal Athletics Department. Reporting to the Athletic Director (AD), the AAD works collaboratively with the Assistant AD as part of the Athletics Leadership Team, supporting strategic planning, daily operations, and cross-divisional coordination.
    The AAD will assist in oversight of the Upper School athletics, ensuring programmatic alignment across divisions, supporting coach development, and leading strategic initiatives. This non-coaching role is ideal for a detail-oriented, forward-thinking administrator ready to help guide TMI through a new era of competitive, values-driven athletics, including transitioning from TAPPS 6A to the Southwest Preparatory Conference (SPC) beginning in the 2026–27 academic year.
    This position offers an outstanding opportunity for an aspiring athletics administrator to work directly with a highly skilled athletic director who has over two decades of NCAA Division I leadership experience. The current TMI AD also brings valuable insights from previous leadership roles in professional sports management and collegiate coaching, establishing a solid foundation for mentorship in strategic planning, operations, compliance, facilities, fundraising, and student-athlete development.
    This position also functions as the sports administrator for several designated Upper School athletic programs, collaborating with head coaches to ensure they have the resources, support, and oversight required for success. Additionally, the Associate AD acts as a key cultural ambassador, responsible for recruiting and mentoring mission-appropriate students, coaches, and staff who embrace and contribute to TMI’s culture of Cherishing, Knowing, and Challenging every member of its community.

    Essential Job Duties
    Leadership & Strategic Collaboration
    • Serve as a key member of the Athletics Leadership Team, helping to shape and execute the department’s strategic vision.
    • Collaborate with the Assistant AD to align Upper and Middle School programs, ensuring consistent policies, communications, and student-athlete experiences.
    • Support the AD in developing and implementing departmental policies and long-term planning initiatives.
    Upper School Athletics Oversight
    • Coordinate scheduling, logistics, and staffing for all Upper School practices, contests, and postseason
    participation.
    • Monitor student-athlete academic, behavioral, and physical wellness in alignment with school policies.
    • Assist with hiring, training, and mentoring Upper School coaches.
    • Collaborate with coaches, Admissions, and divisional leaders to recruit mission-appropriate student athletes.
    • Collaborate with the Athletics Director to create and implement a “TMI Athletics College Prep
    Program” that educates student-athletes, families, and coaches about the college recruiting process at
    NCAA Division I, II, III, NAIA, and junior college levels.
    Event Operations & Game Day Management
    • Manage game-day logistics for Upper School events, including supervising event staff, coordinating
    with officials, and ensuring readiness of fields and facilities.
    • Oversee scoreboard operations, including launching and managing TMI’s four new Daktronics video
    scoreboards for football, soccer, and lacrosse.
    • Coordinate significant athletic events, such as Senior Nights, awards banquets, college signings, and
    regional tournaments.
    • Partner with the Assistant AD to ensure alignment in game operations across divisions.
    Athletic Conference Compliance & Transition
    • Serve as TAPPS compliance officer during the 2025–26 academic year.
    • Attend all SPC meetings alongside the AD in preparation for full conference membership beginning
    2026–27.
    • Coordinate training and communications for coaches and staff on SPC regulations and expectations.
    • Lead research and benchmarking against peer SPC schools to prepare operationally and culturally for

    Job Summary
    The basic function is to perform tasks that provide school personnel, students, and the public with an environmentally safe, attractive, comfortable, and clean facility in which to work and conduct school activities.
    Essential Job Duties
    This position is responsible for routine cleaning of the campus, including offices, classrooms, restrooms, gymnasiums, athletic rooms, etc. A custodian must have flexible availability and potentially support weekend events such as Homecoming, Stars Over TMI, Graduation, dances, etc. All employees are expected to maintain good personal hygiene and wear the appropriate attire which may include uniforms. This position requires the ability to carry out instructions in written or verbal form and communicate effectively with all TMI constituents.
    Ensure a well-cared for and clean facility by performing tasks such as emptying and cleaning waste receptacles, washing windows, dusting furniture, cleaning vents, fans, walls, mop and vacuum floors.
    • Perform deep cleaning tasks such as cleaning baseboards in offices and bathrooms, around sinks and toilets.
    • Maintain organization and cleanliness of storage and supply areas; maintain a record of inventory and ask for supplies as needed.
    • Advise the janitorial supervisor of needed maintenance and repairs in the assigned areas as soon as an issue is noticed.
    • Be ready to assist other custodians as directed by the janitorial supervisor.

    Job Summary
    The basic function of this position as a skilled tradesman is to monitor and maintain the physical school facilities.  This position provides expertise in all areas of general repair and maintenance including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry. This position will be tasked with all matters of repair, preventative maintenance, and upgrades to various school assets such as building interior and exterior, furnishings and equipment. Completion of work may involve coordinating and working with others to accomplish repairs and occasional oversight of contractors. This position requires a high degree of attention to detail, the ability to work on a team, respect of school property while helping foster a culture of safety.  The ability to work alongside administrators, faculty, staff, parents and students with tact and polite demeanor is very important.
      
    Essential Job Duties
    1. Accomplish repair and maintenance of various school assets using the work order system. Prioritize urgency of repairs and communicate status of work with the Director of Facilities.
    2. Evaluate necessary materials and equipment purchases to accomplish repairs and or tasks. Upon approval, procure necessary supplies and tools through our network of vendors.
    3. Coordinate with the Director of Facilities to support school functions. This may include before and after hours as well as weekends. Collaborate with various school constituencies as needed for special event planning, setup and take down.
    4. As directed by the Director of Facilities, work alongside outside contractors as needed.

    House Parents are responsible and accountable for the enforcement of standards, mentoring, leadership,
    management, and overall conduct of the students assigned to his/her house from 6:45pm on Sunday evening
    through 3:30pm on Friday afternoon. He/she will be the principal point of contact for all matters associated with
    the students assigned to his/her house as well as the primary counselor and role model. By maintaining a healthy
    developmental relationship, House Parents will establish effective communication with students and their
    parents. They are the primary mentors for the students and give guidance in dealing with social, emotional,
    academic, and overall student-life challenges.
    While House Parents will work the hours necessary to accomplish the mission, it can generally be understood
    that House Parents will work a five-day week with two consecutive days off when they do not have weekend
    duty. The work week may expand in response to duty rotations and schedule/activity requirements.

    Job Summary
    1. This position is responsible for providing uniformed security and safety for students, faculty, staff, visitors, and school resources 24/7/365. This position is responsible for assisting the Director of Safety & Security with the overall safety and security measures in place, to protect the campus population and resources on the TMI campus. As such, the individual must be professional, visible, trusted, flexible, and tuned in to every activity that takes place at the school. He/she should strive to gain the trust of students and parents and be watchful and vigilant during periods of pick-up and drop-off of students.
    2. Must pass the personnel screening and background check required by the Diocese and successfully complete the presentation “Safeguarding God’s Children” within thirty (30) days of hiring.

    Essential Job Duties
    1. Provide scheduled coverage of the Security Welcome Center and ensure that all vehicles entering the campus without a properly issued and authorized TMI decal are stopped. Screen and issue a visitor’s badge to each occupant after getting appropriate identification/information from them.
    2. Stop all students leaving campus during the day and ask them for their authorization from the Attendance Office.
    3. Control traffic flow, vehicle speed, and all fire lane parking violations
    4. Monitor that all day students safely and timely leave the campus each day after school and athletic/special events.
    5. Provide security of school resources by patrolling the campus and monitoring activities. Secure campus after normal operating hours to ensure doors are secured, parking lot lights working, and front and back gates closed.
    6. Coordinate with the Director of Safety & Security regarding times the gates are to open and close at night, weekends, special events.
    7. Work special events as assigned (Football games, Homecoming, Stars over TMI, Graduation, etc.).
    8. Maintain understanding and familiarization with the school’s Emergency Operations Plan.
    9. Attend monthly security staff meetings, and training events.

    Job Summary
    Substitute Teachers at TMI fulfill a wide range of classroom supervision, administration & academic duties.  Throughout a single school day, Substitutes may cover for multiple teachers in multiple different classrooms at multiple different grade levels (6-12) as needed.  While subject matter specific academic skills are not required to cover a class, Substitutes are expected to have a college education, a high-level of academic experience, and a general ability to guide, assist, and advise students in their studies. The position requires working closely with students, faculty, and staff in a collaborative teamwork environment. Successful candidates will have prior teaching experience or working with children (preferably grades 6-12), excellent communication skills, a high level of attention to detail, and a high degree of patience!

    •    Supervise, instruct, and assist students while performing related job duties of the regular classroom teacher in their absence.

    • Participate in school-wide events, prospective student activities, and community service projects to reinforce the role of athletics in holistic student development.

    Professional Development
    • Attend coaching clinics, workshops, and seminars to stay updated with the latest baseball strategies, techniques, and trends.

    Compliance & Safety
    • Ensure all coaching activities comply with TAPPS regulations and school policies.
    • Adhere to school policies regarding athlete eligibility, academic standards, and behavior expectations.
    • Maintain current First Aid/CPR certification and always prioritize player safety.

    Experience/Skills
    • Prior head coaching experience preferred.
    • Previous baseball coaching experience required.
    • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
    • Knowledge of baseball-specific conditioning, skills development, and game strategies.
    • Ability to mentor and guide student-athletes in their academic and athletic growth.
    • Experience in scouting, film breakdown, and player analysis is beneficial.
    • Certified First Aid/CPR required.
    • Valid Driver’s License, Class B with Passenger Endorsement preferred (for driving team transportation).

    Education
    • Bachelor’s degree required.
    • Must submit background checks and certifications as required by the school and the Diocese of West Texas.
