Applying to TMI

Thank you for your interest in TMI Episcopal. Below you will find links to detailed information that will guide you through the steps of the application process for your child.  With each step of the process, you are encouraged to ask questions about the TMI community. Please refer to the Application Timeline for important dates regarding admission, financial aid, and scholarship deadlines.

October 28, 2018 Admission Open House (RSVP)
Entrance Exam (ISEE) administered at TMI (register)
November 1, 2018 Online financial aid application available
November 16, 2018 Early Admission Deadline
Rolling admission policy, as seats are available, after Nov. 16
Alkek and Lillibridge Scholarship applicants are encouraged to apply for Early Admission
December 1, 2018 Entrance Exam (ISEE) administered at TMI (register)
January 12, 2019 Entrance Exam (ISEE) administered at TMI (register)
January 18, 2019 Alkek Scholarship application deadline
(For new 9th grade applicants.)
February 8, 2019 Lillibridge Scholarship application deadline
(For new 6th grade applicants.)

Application Process

  • Submit Application

    All students seeking admission to TMI must complete an application for admission. Applications can be submitted online, printed from our website, or obtained by contacting the Office of Admissions.
  • Schedule a Shadow Day

    The best way to decide if TMI is the right fit for your child is to participate in a Shadow Day. Please click here for more details regarding TMI's Shadow Day program.
  • Entrance Exam

    Students seeking admission to TMI are required to take the Independent School Entrance Exam (ISEE) or may contact the Office of Admissions for in-house testing. TMI offers the ISEE on October 28, 2018; December 1, 2018; and January 12, 2019.
  • Submit TMI Recommendation Forms

    Recommendation forms are to be completed by current school officials and faculty, who should return them directly to the Office of Admissions. Required recommendations: English, Math, and Principal/Counselor.
  • Academic Transcripts

    Submit the School Records Release Authorization at any school attended by the applicant during the past two years.
  • Submit Financial Aid Application

    Financial Aid applications can be submitted online here starting November 1, 2018. In some cases, qualifying families that apply after January 15, 2019 may receive financial aid based on remaining available funds.
