TMI senior wins Stock Show awards

TMI Episcopal senior Trent Wisian won two awards Feb. 18 at the San Antonio Livestock Show and Rodeo.
He was named the 4-H Senior Horse Judging Champion, for which he was awarded a $10,000 college scholarship. Wisian, who competed against 131 other judges, has been judging since he was 11 years old.

Showing his steer Gus, he also took fifth place in the Junior Market Steer Medium Weight Hereford competition, an award that qualified him to sell his steer at auction.

Last year, Wisian was named Reserve Champion in Boys Cutting, Texas High School Rodeo Association, Region 8. He hopes to attend Texas A&M University next year. His major will be Applied Mathematics, and he plans to pursue a career as an actuary.
MISSION: TMI provides an exceptional education with values based on the teachings of Jesus Christ that challenge motivated students to develop their full potential in service and leadership.
