2020 Summer At TMI

Join TMI Episcopal this coming summer! We offer a variety of programs for most everyone, including Athletic Camps, Academic Enrichment, Leadership Courses, Innovation & Design, Marksmanship, and our Panther Day Camp! This coming summer our Panther Day Camp will have a different theme each week and many activities will be led by our very own TMI faculty.

Panther Day Camp (K-6th), Jul 6-Aug 7

This camp promises to provide your elementary or early middle school-age child with unique experiences both in and out of the classroom. Sessions are offered for children entering kindergarten through the sixth grade. Program time will be further spilt into K-3 and 4-6 grades.

    Panther Day Camp Hours: 7:45am–5:15pm
    (Extended Care Hours Included)

    A full-day camp experience (M-F) for Rising K-6th grades. Panther Day Camp provides a safe and enriching environment for campers to participate in healthy, developmentally-appropriate activities and learning experiences. Our camp focuses on having fun while learning, building self-esteem and social skills through new activities.

    Weekly themes will keep campers engaged and provide a basis for kids to learn about themselves and the world around them. For anyone who participated in our Leadership and Exploration camps in the past, these elements and staff will be included in our Panther Camp.

    Each week of Panther Day Camp will feature a different theme:

    WEEK 1 (7/6-7/10): OUTDOOR ADVENTURE WEEK
    Experience the great outdoors with nature crafts, tasty concoctions over a fire, lawn games, Science of Nature, and enjoy a camp BBQ.
     
    WEEK 2 (7/13-7/17): SUPERHERO WEEK
    Unlock your superpowers during this adventure-filled week. Discover the hero in you through challenges, adventure, and good deeds. Grab your mask and capes as we launch ourselves into fun and games.
     
    WEEK 3 (7/20-7/24): MAD SCIENCE
    Put on your lab coats as we test different scientific theories and myths. Dive into the world of interactive science where day camp is your own laboratory. We'll have all kinds of science activities, experiences, myth-busting, and science facts vs. fiction.
     
    WEEK 4 (7/27-7/31): WATER WORKS
    It's time to get soaked! Splish and splash through an awesome, fun-filled week. Summer is hot, but you will stay cool with activities like water sponge games, water relays, and more! We will also DIVE into some of the science behind water!
     
    WEEK 5 (8/3-8/7): OUT OF THIS WORLD SPACE CAMP
    Set your future space explorers on a trajectory from our Earth's atmosphere to the outer reaches of our solar system! This hands-on program brings them closer to the stars, planets, comets, and more. They learn about living in space, gravity, and participate in a rocket launch!

  • REGISTRATION FEE

    Please note that all registrants will be charged a 5% non-refundable registration fee. Individual camps/courses may have an additional fee during registration that is specific to that camp/course.
  • ACADEMIC COURSE ATTENDANCE

    Regular and punctual attendance is required. Only one absence is allowed during each semester credit. No more than two absences are allowed during each full-year course.
  • ACADEMIC COURSE DRESS CODE

    Please note that uniforms are only required for the Academic Courses.

    A simple uniform is required for all students attending summer school:
    TMI Students can wear their daily dress uniform.
    Non-TMI Students can wear the following:
    • Khaki shorts or long trousers 
    • White shirt with collar or white polo 
    • White or black athletic shoes 
    • White socks 

    Male students may not wear earrings or hats in the classroom. All students are expected to adhere to good grooming standards. Male hair styles will be worn off the collar and not cover the ears or hang over the eyebrows. Beards and mustaches are not permitted. Female hair styles must be well-groomed. The school retains the right to determine appropriate grooming and uniform standards.
  • CONDUCT

    The same standards of conduct expected of TMI students will be required of all students during the summer.
  • REGISTRATION DEADLINE (Academic Classes Only)

    The deadline to register for the Academic Classes is May 31, 2020.
