TMI Outerwear Policy in Cold Weather

As temperatures begin to drop, we want to remind you what is allowed for outerwear during the school day. On days when the temperature is below 50 degrees at 8:00 a.m., or when it is expected to fall below 50 degrees during the school day, students are permitted to wear non-TMI issued outerwear in good repair.

All outerwear should be tasteful in color and pattern and should not have excessive logos, writing, or graphics. Should this occur on a Wednesday during the second or third quarter, Upper School students may wear their non-TMI outerwear over the TMI blazer. The school administration will use www.weather.com as a reference for the temperature for the zip code of our school, 78257.

Please contact your child’s dean of students (Middle School Dean of Students Troy Eason, t.eason@tmi-sa.org or Upper School School Dean of Students Matt Ridewood '01, m.ridewood@tmi-sa.org) if you have any questions regarding this policy.
