TMI Family Association

Welcome to the Family Association of TMI Episcopal! The parent-volunteers who make up this dedicated group of community leaders serve the school as Ambassadors of our excellent educational institution. The Family Association strives to take an active role in engaging all parents of the TMI community to reach out to new families, foster relationships among parents, enhance communication from the school and establish a legacy that will lay the foundation for a stronger parent community that is engaged in school activities and positive growth.

The Family Association holds periodic meetings which are open to all parents to attend. At the general meetings, parents will have an opportunity to learn about what is happening at the school, changes that are in the works, programs that are being developed, the overall status of the school, and have an opportunity to visit and hear from the Headmaster. Various programs and key speakers are scheduled for each meeting to engage parents and foster a deeper understanding about our community.

Falling under the umbrella of the Family Association is the Parent Advisory Council where a selected group of Middle School and Upper School parents are actively engaged in discussions with the school administration about policy topics that will impact the community with positive change.

At TMI, every parent is a member of the Family Association. We encourage you to become active members throughout the year, participating in various events and working to build a stronger community.

To celebrate the first-ever National Box Tops for Education Week September 24 – September 30, we’re holding a clipping drive to jump start our school’s earnings for the year. Our goal is to collect every single Box Top in the area. To do this, students will be spreading the word and collection bags or sheets to family, friends and neighbors during the week. We need your help! Please clip your Box Tops and have them ready to return to the school by 4:00 pm on Friday, September 29. All you have to do is collect—the student will coordinate pickup or drop-off of your collection. Students who are the top earner in each grade will receive a special MONTHLY “Bonus Box” full of yummy treats provided by the Middle School Baking Club.
