Shadow Days at TMI Shadow Days are meant to provide prospective students a first-hand opportunity to experience a day in the life of a TMI student Not only will visitors attend class and interact with students and faculty, but they will experience what makes TMI unique:
A challenging and invigorating college-prep curriculum including over 20 AP courses
Robust athletic programs for both Middle School and Upper School
A nationally recognized, optional JROTC program (Corps of Cadets)
A close-knit community that extends throughout campus
What to expect on a Shadow Day
The Office of Admissions will gather information from parents regarding their student’s interests and involvement. These details will assist Admissions with selecting an Admission Ambassador to host your student.
Visitors will typically spend the day with an Ambassador in their current grade level or one grade level above.
Prospective families can also expect a meeting with the Director of Admissions or the Associate Director of Admissions either in the morning or afternoon in order to conduct interviews and answer any questions of the family.
Due to family work schedules and other commitments, only one parent is required to participate in the interview process.
Let the TMI Office of Admissions set up your Shadow Day!
The best days to visit are Monday and Thursday.
Visits can also be scheduled on Tuesday and Friday.
Most students spend the entire day on campus, but half-day visits can be arranged.
