Walker Innovation Center
The Walker Innovation Center is the creative engine of TMI Episcopal’s Arts + Innovation Signature Program—a dedicated space where ideas come to life, problems are solved with purpose, and students are empowered to become the creators of their own future.
Designed to inspire exploration and hands-on learning, the Walker Innovation Center is equipped with cutting-edge tools for design thinking, prototyping, fabrication, robotics, and digital media. From launching business ventures to building functional prototypes, students collaborate across disciplines to turn their ideas into impact. Here, innovation isn’t just a subject—it’s an experience. Students learn to work like real-world designers, engineers, and entrepreneurs: asking big questions, testing solutions, learning from failure, and iterating toward success. Guided by expert faculty and mentors, they develop critical skills in creativity, leadership, communication, and problem-solving.
The Walker Innovation Center is more than a makerspace—it’s a launchpad for imagination and a training ground for tomorrow’s leaders.

Robotics
Housed within the Walker Innovation Center, TMI Episcopal’s Robotics Program challenges students to explore the exciting intersection of engineering, coding, and creativity. Through hands-on projects and competition-based learning, students design, build, and program functional robots—gaining real-world experience in teamwork, problem-solving, and innovation.
Our Robotics Program welcomes students of all skill levels, from curious beginners to advanced builders. Under the guidance of dedicated faculty mentors, students learn to use industry-relevant tools and technologies as they tackle engineering challenges and prepare for local and national competitions.
Beyond technical skills, robotics cultivates resilience, adaptability, and collaboration—qualities essential for success in college, careers, and life.
