Message from the President

Since the 2017–2018 school year, TMI has embraced an annual school theme to guide and inspire our community. Introduced by the Rev. Scott Brown, these themes, rooted in scripture or meaningful mantras, set the spiritual tone and serve as a unifying focus for each year. Once a school year ends, the theme does not disappear; it remains a lasting part of our culture, continually shaping the faith, values, and spirit of the TMI community.
Since our founding in 1893, TMI has shaped generations of leaders—individuals who serve with purpose, lead with integrity, and grow in faith. Today, we proudly continue that tradition with renewed energy and vision. As we embrace this year’s theme, “All Things Made New,” we find ourselves in a moment of meaningful transformation—spiritually, academically, and physically.
It is my sincere pleasure to welcome you to our community, and I encourage you to visit our beautiful hilltop campus to witness these exciting changes for yourself. This year marks a significant chapter in our school’s history, as every building on campus has been either remodeled or significantly updated. From classrooms to gathering spaces, we've invested in brand-new academic facilities designed to support collaboration, innovation, and deeper learning. These capital improvements reflect our unwavering commitment to providing an inspiring environment where students can thrive.
Our mission remains unchanged: to develop servant leaders—young people who follow the teachings of Jesus Christ while growing in wisdom, compassion, and resilience. Our dedicated faculty continue to challenge and support students as they prepare for success at elite universities, service academies, and global programs. Every lesson, every chapel service, every team effort is grounded in the core values that define us: wisdom, integrity, service, excellence, and reverence.
At TMI, we believe renewal is not only physical, it is spiritual and personal. “All Things Made New” invites us to reflect, recommit, and grow—individually and as a community. As we honor our rich legacy, we are also boldly stepping into a new era with faith and purpose.
I hope you’ll consider becoming part of the TMI story. Together, we are building a future rooted in tradition, inspired by transformation, and guided by the enduring values of our faith.
With gratitude,
The Rev. Scott J. Brown, President
