TMI inducts new NHS, NJHS members

Chapters of the National Honor Society (NHS) and National Junior Honor Society (NJHS) at TMI this season inducted new members during an Oct. 26 ceremony in All Saints Chapel.
New NHS members are: Jordan Bell, Michael Blaess, Jiyang “John” Chen, Hasan Ehsan, Daniel Espey, Oluwatomike Falebita, Ethan Fish, Paulina Fernandez Garza, Marielle Fis, Warren Gignac, Erick Gomez, Joseph Gonzalez-Sudberry, Emory Gordon, Benjamin Hirsch, Maria Jamison, Eun Bi “Kelly” Jung, Grant Kahl, Patrick Kennedy, Michael LeJune, Yiyang “Louis” Liu, Bridget Lynch, Dara Mack, Juliana Martinez, Santiago Martinez, Rosalind Moreman, Alec Neiman, Kyle Nevitt, Anne Notzon, Brandon Rubsamen, Manaal Salman, Karina Samuel, Kristina Samuel, Neely Stone, Andres Thrailkill, John Torpey, Caroline Vassar, Hope Westerman and WenJing “Audrey” Yang.

New NJHS members are: Alexander Bellucci, Marco Bonilla, Natalia Corona, Tyler Cunningham, Hayden Dietrich, Grace Gaiser, Sarah Guerra, Kyan Jones, Indigo Keener, Connor Lafreeda, Robert Lafreeda, Natalie Lashway, Balbina Martinez Sotomayor Garcia, Matthew Matula, Aidyn Neiman, Leelakay Power, Jeremy Schur, Sydney Scrimpshire, Kayla Valdez Martinez, William Walsh, Elizabeth Wray and Leena Zar.

TMI has had a chapter of the National Honor Society since 1930 and was among the first private schools to be granted a charter. The nationwide organization recognizes outstanding students in grades 10 through 12 who have demonstrated excellence in the areas of scholarship, leadership, service and character. National Junior Honor Society is an affiliated organization for students in grades six through nine.
